Chavous Custom Contracting Reviews

Colin Chavous came out and explained in detail how he would build the new deck that I requested with detailed drawings. I had a 30 year old deck that was falling apart. When it was time to start the project I was surprised to only see Colin himself to handle it. However he demolition my old deck and hauled everything away on the first day! Within 3 weeks I had my NEW custom deck fully rebuild with excellent quality craftmanship Colin takes a lot of pride in his work and pays close attention to detail. Since it was done I have neighbors that all see the new deck and are asking me who built it. Colin Custom Contracting by far impressed me and I would recommend him to anyone needing a new deck.

Collin had built our deck with Azek materials 14 years previously. The lights on two post were not functioning at this time. We notified him and he returned the next day exactly when he said he would arrive. After assessing the problem he ordered the replacement parts and installed them two days later. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the initial deck install and we were glad to see that he responded to solve our problem 14 years later. We would recommend Collin for deck installs. Actually we got the reference for our deck from a neighbor who had a deck install and we recommended Collin to another neighbor. I do believe all three were satisfied with their decks.

I hired Chavouos Custom Contracting to replace a deck that was damaged by a tree. It was an insurance claim and Colin was very helpful in submitting necessary paperwork for approval by insurance company and even coming out again to take photos of structural damage to help my claim get paid. He showed up on time and worked hard every day until it was done. They were respectful and left the area clean. We could not be happier with the new deck. Their pricing was very fair for the work we had done. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Chavous Custom Contracting did a PHENOMENAL job on my driveway project! Showed up on time everyday, consulted with me on the specifics and put blood, sweat and tears into the work as if it were at his house!!! Colin has to be the HARDEST working craftsman in Pennsylvania. He is awesome!!!

I highly recommend Colin! He built my deck and he’s reliable, honest, on time. I can’t say enough about how satisfied I am with my new patio! He exceeded my expectations and I’m more than satisfied! Amazing craftsmanship!!! If you’re looking to have a deck built, look no further! Amazing!

Colin Chavous did some custom repairs on my home in West Chester Pa. I was especially happy with the attention to detail and quality of workmanship he performed on the job. I highly recommend Chavous Custom Contracting to anyone needing repairs or a new deck built.
